दुनिया के महान वैज्ञानिकों में से एक स्टीफन विलियम हॉकिंग का जन्म 8 जनवरी, 1942 को इंग्लैंड के ऑक्सफोर्ड में हुआ था. 21 साल की उम्र में स्टीफन हॉकिंग एक भयानक बीमारी की चपेट में आ गए थे. जिसके बाद उनके डॉक्टरों ने कह दिया था कि वो दो साल से ज्यादा नहीं जी पाएंगे, लेकिन 50 से ज्यादा साल जीने के दौरान हॉकिंग ने अपने डॉक्टरों की भविष्यवाणी को गलत साबित कर दिया था.

आपको बता दें, वे अपनी शारीरिक अक्षमता के बावजूद विश्व के सबसे बड़े वैज्ञानिक थे. उन्हें मोटर न्यूरॉन नाम की बीमारी थी. इस बीमारी में मनुष्य का नर्वस सिस्टम धीरे-धीरे खत्म हो जाता है और शरीर के मूवमेंट करने और कम्यूनिकेशन पावर समाप्त हो जाती है. स्टीफन हॉकिंग के दिमाग को छोड़कर उनके शरीर का कोई भी भाग काम नहीं करता था

उन्होंने अपने जीवन में स्पेस-टाइम को लेकर कई शोध किए. उन्होंने कई सिद्धांतों को समझाया है, जिसमें बिंग बैंग थ्योरी और ब्लैक होल थ्योरी आदि शामिल है.

Stephen William Hawking, one of the world's greatest scientists, was born on 8 January 1942 in Oxford, England. At the age of 21, Stephen Hawking was struck by a terrible disease. After which his doctors had said that he would not be able to live more than two years, but Hawking had proved his doctors' prediction wrong while living more than 50 years.

Let me tell you, he was the greatest scientist in the world despite his physical disability. He had a disease called motor neuron. In this disease, the nervous system of the human being gradually ends and the movement and communication power of the body is lost. No part of his body worked except Stephen Hawking's brain

He did many researches in his life about space-time. He has explained many theories, including Bing Bang Theory and Black Hole Theory etc.
