थॉमस एडिसन

महान वैज्ञानिक थॉमस एडिसन बहुत ही मेहनती थे। बचपन में उन्हें यह कहकर स्कूल से निकाल दिया गया कि वह मंद बुद्धि बालक है। उसी थॉमस एडिसन ने कई महत्वपूर्ण आविष्कार किए जिसमें से 'बिजली का बल्ब' प्रमुख है। उन्होंने बल्ब का आविष्कार करने के लिए हजारों बार प्रयोग किए थे तब जाकर उन्हें सफलता मिली थी। 

एक बार जब वह बल्ब बनाने के लिए प्रयोग कर रहे थे तभी एक व्यक्ति ने उनसे पूछा आपने करीब एक हजार प्रयोग किए लेकिन आपके सारे प्रयोग असफल रहे और आपकी मेहनत बेकार हो गई। क्या आपको दुख नहीं होता?

तब एडिसन ने कहा मैं नहीं समझता कि मेरे एक हजार प्रयोग असफल हुए है। मेरी मेहनत बेकार नहीं गई क्योंकि मैंने एक हजार प्रयोग करके यह पता लगाया है कि इन एक हजार तरीकों से बल्ब नहीं बनाया जा सकता। मेरा हर प्रयोग, बल्ब बनाने की प्रक्रिया का हिस्सा है और मैं अपने प्रत्येक प्रयास के साथ एक कदम आगे बढ़ता हूं।

कोई भी सामान्य व्यक्ति होता तो वह जल्द ही हार मान लेता लेकिन थॉमस एडिसन ने अपने प्रयास जारी रखे और हार नहीं मानी। आखिरकार एडिसन की मेहनत रंग लाई और उन्होंने बल्ब का आविष्कार करके पूरी दुनिया को रोशन कर दिया। यह थॉमस एडिसन का विश्वास ही था जिसने आशा की किरण को बुझने नहीं दिया नहीं और पूरी दुनिया को बल्ब के द्वारा रोशन कर दिया।

The great scientist Thomas Edison was very diligent. As a child, he was expelled from the school, saying that he was a retarded child. The same Thomas Edison made several important inventions, of which the 'electric bulb' is prominent. He had experimented thousands of times to invent the bulb and was successful at that time. Once, when he was experimenting to make bulbs, a person asked him, you did about a thousand experiments, but all your experiments were unsuccessful and your efforts were in vain. Don't you hurt then Edison said that I do not think that one thousands of my experiments have failed. My hard work did not go in vain because I have discovered through a thousand experiments that bulbs cannot be made in these one thousand ways. Each of my experiments is part of the bulb making process and I go a step ahead with each of my efforts. Any normal person would have given up soon but Thomas Edison continued his efforts and did not give up. Eventually Edison's hard work paid off and he illuminated the whole world by inventing the bulb. It was the faith of Thomas Edison that did not let the ray of hope quench and illuminate the whole world through the bulb.
