सफलता का नुस्खा

शार्क को एक बड़े कंटेनर में बंद कर दिया गया और जब उसमें कुछ अन्य छोटी मछलियाँ छोड़ी गईं, तो शार्क ने कुछ ही सेकंड में उन्हें खा लिया।                            

अब एमिली (जो एक समुद्री जीवविज्ञानी है) ने प्रयोग के लिए कंटेनर को बीच में एक कांच की दीवार से दो भागों में विभाजित किया। जब छोटी मछली को दूसरे भाग में छोड़ा गया,तो शार्क ने पहले की तरह हमला करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन कांच की दीवार के कारण विफल रही। लेकिन वह घंटों तक शीशे पर अपना सिर टिकराती रही ... फिर थक  हार कर उसने समझौता कर लिया। अगले दिन फिर एमिली ने कंटेनर के दूसरे हिस्से में छोटी मछली को छोड  दिया। शार्क ने फिर कोशिश की, लेकिन इस बार शार्क ने जल्दी से हार मान ली। कुछ और दिनों तक एक ही प्रयोग दोहराने के बाद,एक दिन ऐसा आया जब शार्क ने एक बार भी कोशिश नहीं की ... यह देखकर, एमिली ने अगले दिन कांच की दीवार को हटा दिया। हैरानी की बात है कि शार्क के चारों ओर छोटी मछलियां तैर रही हैं, लेकिन शार्क पूरी तरह से उनके प्रति उदासीन है। क्योंकि कुछ दिनों के प्रयास और असफलता के बाद, उसने महसूस किया कि ये छोटी मछलियाँ उसकी पहुँच से बाहर हैं ...

कुछ इसी तरह की असफलताओं से निराश होकर आदमी भी कोशिश करना छोड़ देता है। उसे कितनेही  मौके क्यों ना मिले ... वह अपनी पिछली असफलताओं के कारण अपने पकड  में मौजूद  हर अवसर को ठोकर मारदेता  है!
