चार्ली चैपलिन कहते हैं:

 और उस दिन से मुझे अपने पिता पर गर्व है, वह मेरे जीवन का सबसे प्यारा दृश्य था, यहां तक ​​कि उस सर्कस से भी प्यारा  जो मैंने कभी नहीं देखा था।असली ख़ुशी दुसरो को खुश करने से मिलती हे.

English Translation

Charlie Chaplin says:

When I was little I went to see the circus with my dad, had to stand in a long line for tickets, we had a family in front of us with six children and parents, from a poor family, their clothes were old but clean. The children were talking about the circus, looking very happy. When it was their turn, their father went to the window for tickets and asked for the ticket price, then said something in his wife's ear. There was embarrassment and sadness on his face. Then I saw, Baba took twenty dollars out of his pocket and threw it on the ground, put his hand on the man's shoulder and said: 'Your money fell ... !! " He looked at Baba (there were tears in his eyes) and said: "Thank you very much ... !!" When they went in for the circus, Baba grabbed me by the hand and we stepped back. Because Baba had only the twenty dollars that he gave to this person ... !!

And from that day on I am proud of my father; he was the sweetest scene of my life, even sweeter than the circus I never saw. Real happiness comes from making others happy
