The Bird

एक राजा अपने मंत्रियो और सेना के अफसरो के साथ बाजार का चक्कर लगा रहा था/ सैर के दौरान राजा ने एक पक्षी बेचने वाले को देखा जो एक पक्षियो से भरा हुआ पिंजरा एक दीनार का बेचरहा था जबके उसके पास एक और पिंजरेमे वैसा ही एक अकेला पक्षी था जिस की किमत वह दस दीनार मांग रहा था/

राजा इस अंतर पर बडा आश्चर्यचकित हुआ, पूछा ऐसा क्यू? पक्षियोसे भरा पिंजरा एक दीनार का और वैसाही एक अकेला पक्षी दस दीनार का?                                                            

बेचनेवाला बोला महाराज यह अकेला सिखाया हुआ है, जब बोलता है तो इस के धोखेमे आकर बाकी पक्षी जालमे फंस जाते है, इसलिए यह किमती है और इस का मूल्य अधिक है/

राजा दस दीनार देकर उस पक्षी को खरीदलेता है और नाभी से खंजर निकालकर उस पक्षी का सर धड से अलग करदेता है/ सभी मंत्री और सेना प्रमुख आश्चर्य से पूछते है महाराज यह क्या कर दिया आपने? इतना महंगा और सिखाया हुआ पक्षी खरीदकर मार दिया? राजा बोला “यही सजा होनी चाहिए हर गद्दार,कपटी और विश्वासघाती की जो अपनेही जातीके लोगो को अपनी बोली से बुलाकर उनसे विश्वासघात करे”...  

English Translation 

A king was circling the market with his ministers and army officers. During the walk, the king saw a bird seller who was in the cage filled with a bird, while he had a lonely cage in another cage. There was a bird for which he was asking for ten dinars.

The king was surprised at this difference, asked why? A bird cage full of dinars and a lone bird of ten dinars? The seller said, "This maharaj is taught alone, when he speaks, the other birds get caught in the deception, so it is precious and its value is high the king buys that bird by giving ten dinars and removes the dagger from the navel and separates the head of the bird from the body.  

 All ministers and army chief ask in surprise, what did you do, Maharaj? Buy and kill a bird so expensive and taught? The king said, "This should be the punishment of every traitor, hypocrite and betrayer who betrays the people of his own right by calling him out of his bid".
